A Texarkana man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the production of child pornography.
According to authorities, 32-year-old Michael Beam solicited nude images from a 13-year-old girl over SnapChat. The girl said that Beam paid her with a vape device in exchange for the images and videos of herself.
Authorities searched Beam’s phone and found the images the girl had sent. Beam pleaded guilty in March of last year. His sentence will be followed by lifetime supervised release.
