Magnolia man sentenced to 10 years for drug trafficking

    A Magnolia man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of drug trafficking.

    Eddie Dean McBride Jr., 50, was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years and another three years of supervised release for his role in distributing methamphetamine in Columbia County, Arkansas. 

    The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, and the 13th Judicial Drug Task Force all contributed to the 2019 investigation that ended with the FBI conducting a controlled purchase of methamphetamine from McBride.
