A police chase in Shreveport yesterday afternoon led to a manhunt ending in four arrests.
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop around 5 p.m. yesterday. The vehicle refused to stop and led patrol officers on a chase that ended when the vehicle crashed into a fire hydrant.
Upon crashing, four armed suspects fled from the vehicle. A K-9 officer located three of the suspects who were hiding under a residence.
A fourth suspect was captured when he forcibly entered a residence without consent while trying to escape from officers.
Shreveport Police arrested three adult males and one juvenile related to this incident.
Kevin Carr (6-25-02) was charged with one count of Home Invasion, one count of Aggravated Battery, one count of Illegal possession of Stolen Things, one count of Possession of Schedule IV and Schedule II, one count of Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute, one count of Resisting an Officer, and one count of Felony Theft.
Ishmael Edwards (9-6-02) was charged with one count of Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute, one count of Resisting an Officer, and Aggravated Flight from an Officer.
Charzavien Thomas (8-27-01) was charged with one count of Resisting an Officer and one count of Illegal possession of Stolen Things.
Due to the laws issued in reference to mugshot releases in the state of Louisiana, we are required to remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
