TAPD announces promotions

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is proud to announce the promotion of Sergeant Kyle Beach to the rank of Lieutenant and Officer William Daugherty to the rank of Sergeant.

Lt. Kyle Beach has served with the department for 18 years in the patrol division and as a member of the special weapons and tactics team. Lt. Beach will continue to work with the patrol division. Lt. Beach was pinned by his wife Ofc. Kristen Beach.

Sgt. William Daugherty has served with the department for 7 years in the patrol division and as a member of the special weapons tactics team. Sgt. Daugherty will continue to serve in the patrol division. Sgt. Daugherty was pinned by his wife Bethany Daugherty.

  On Thursday, March 16, 2023, Arkansas State Police Colonel Mike Hagar announced that Captain Chris Goodman graduated as a member of the 285th session of the FBI National Academy.
