TTPD arrests suspect in sexual assault case

A man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a child.

Officers with the Texarkana, Texas, Police Department arrested 25-year-old Moses Ross yesterday morning after a warrant was issued for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

The preschool-aged victim made an outcry to her mother last weekend, and the mother immediately called 911. Detective Tabitha Smith's investigation uncovered information and evidence that ultimately led to the arrest warrant being issued.

Ross was booked into the Bi-State Jail yesterday after being interviewed by detectives. His bond has not yet been set.
